THE BAND
Yuri has the great fortune of being accompanied by a fantastic bunch of musicians, the band who call themselves Vostok-1, but whom he calls his friends. It’s a strange coincidence that the very first show they played at was on the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin and Vostok-1’s trip to space (even more so when you find out that the band was named before they knew of that coincidence).
Vostok-1 are:
(Right) Adrian - Guitar
90s rock fan. Calm as a leaf on a windless day, Adrian has a history of audio production behind him. Names guitars that he hasn’t owned. Yet. (The count so far exceeds thirty).
(Middle) Jazlan - Drums
Frustrated-guitarist-turned-drummer. Rock and roller with a new-age philosophy. Always happy to do the odd cover (’odd‘ meaning ‘strange‘, not ‘occasional‘)
(Left) Leonard - Bass
Sometimes called ‘Toh Sun’ for his aversion to taking pictures (as his God of Gamblers namesake did in the movie). Avid collector of graphic novels and lover of black clothing.
